While with the Mary Baldwin Fighting Squirrels, orchestrated one of the most dramatic turnarounds in program history, inheriting a 2–23 team and delivering a 15-win improvement in 2018–19, establishing sustained competitiveness and leading the program to three consecutive appearances in the USA South Athletic Conference Tournament.

Southern States Athletic Conference

Constructed and developed a program responsible for the best record in school history since joining the Southern States Athletic Conference and longest winning streak since the ’17-’18 season. Returned the program to the Top 25 for the first time in more than five years in the ’25-’26 season with an overall 19-4 record to date. In the first year of the program, delivered best year in school history at the time (4-14 to 11-5), won first conference tournament game since joining the SSAC, and set over 20 program records. Consistently attracts next generation of conference talent with several players recognized by SSAC and NAIA as offensive and/or defensive Player of the Week in the ’25-’26 season. Accolades for the ’24-’25 season include: Ashley Dickey, new comer of the year leading scorer in conference, 1st team all-conference; Daysha Reid, 6th in the league in scoring, 1st team all-conference, 1st team all-conference tournament, Barnes and Nobles All-Academic Team; Silki Vasquez-Troche, 1st in assists, Barnes and Nobles All-Academic Team, 2nd team All-Conference; Alexis Halley, received votes for All Freshmen Team. Program given strong consideration for the NAIA national tournament and ARC ranked for the first time in the ’24-’25 season. Manage and oversee the daily operations of the program including recruiting, practice/game management, travel organization, skill development, event scheduling, academic supervision, equipment management and fundraising (>$30k). Led and managed athletic department projects to assist Athletic Director including facilities reconstruction.

Involved in identifying and evaluating students for the institution and organizing their recruitment in conjunction with the Office of Admissions. Taught basketball technique to student-athletes to enhance their athletic ability, basketball intelligence and team cohesiveness. Innovated a faster and more aggressive playing style fully utilized by the team in the 2022-23 season. Led film sessions and created offensive and defensive game plans for opponents with an understanding of player strengths/weaknesses 

Coached student athletes during games and provided specific feedback to athletes to enhance their areas of opportunity. Supported the academic progress of the student-athletes by providing access to academic support. Signed Ny’Ceara Pryor - VSN Girl’s Basketball Player of the Year. Developed Maiya Bergdorf, who made the NEC All Rookie Team. Conceptualized and organized recruiting camps: Front Rush; Field Level; and Be the Beast.

USA South Conference    

Constructed a program responsible for the best record in school history since joining the USA South conference (2-23 to 17-10) and set over 30 new records for the WBB program in 2 years, including breaking a 101-game losing streak in conference in the 2017-18 season and 3 consecutive years participating in the USA South Tournament. Managed and oversaw the daily operations of the program including recruiting, practice/game management, travel organization, skill development, event scheduling, academic supervision, equipment management and fundraising. Won first conference tournament game since joining the USA South Conference as well as the Penn State Harrisburg Thanksgiving tournament in 2018-19. Identified student-athlete talent and recruited 11 new players for the 2018-19 season and 9 new players for the 2019-20 season. Of those, 2 were All Conference Players in the 2018-2019 season (Fr. Leah Calhoun & Fr. Brooke Anders), 1 was Rookie of The Year and first time All Conference Player (Fr. Leah Calhoun), and 1 was a Team All-Conference Player 2020-21 (So. Jalen Gathers). Supported the academic progress of the student-athletes on the team with 12 of the 16 players finishing the fall semester with a GPA over 3.1, highest overall team GPA in the Athletic Department 2019-20. Implemented a comprehensive strength and conditioning program to minimize injuries and trains athletes for success on the court. Improved student-athletes leadership and technical skills, reflected in awards: Sportsmanship Award to (So. Nicole Mallon) 2019-20; Sportsmanship Award to (Jr. Hannah Varner) 2020-21. Selected by USA South coaches to assist with (RAC) South Region Rankings. Preseason Poll #1 by USA South Coaches 2019-20. Developed and organized MBU WBB individual and team camps following the 2018-19 season.

Coached student-athletes during practices and workouts to develop specific feedback that would enhance their game play. Developed and executed a recruiting strategy that attracted top-tier talent and an award including: 2 McDonald All American Nominees (Natalie Kucowski and Olivia Martino); an All-Rookie Team Player 2016-2017 (Fr. Olivia Gumbs) and the Blue Star Honorable Mention Recruiting Class 2017 (Top 60), first for Lafayette. Developed and organized multiple Summer Elite Clinic and Camps. Organized practice players (instructed them on opposing team strategies, tendencies and plays) Directed managers and their duties (schedules, equipment, laundry, pre-practice and game set up computer, cameras for audio and video recording). Created defensive game plans for opponents and provided in depth breakdown of position work (both guards and forwards). Coached an All-Conference Player an All-Rookie Team Player for consecutive years. Named Director of Player Development and Offensive Strategies (Spring of 2015). Assisted with the oversight of Social Media outlets (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram).

Grew clientele base from five to ninety participants with marketing and social media   driven advertising. Managed summer and fall basketball camps with over 30 players in attendance and 4 coaches. Trained all campers and clients, in a manner consistent with college and international training exercises. Utilized former player experience to relate concepts, strategies and nuances of the game to players.
